Test bed for hydraulic valves

Setup of a test bed for hydraulic valves. Mechanics and hydraulic system were provided by the customer. Application of a SPS-controller type Siemens SIMATIC S4-400 with touch panel TP270.

 

Recipe (valve type) dependent workflow of the testing program. Display of program status on the panel. Display of interpretation of data (altogether 100 measured values with their respective tolerance ranges) as well as display of final result (in order/not in order) on the panel.

 

The measured values of each test are written into an Excel compatible spreadsheet (each test generates a data record).
An office computer can be used to modify all recipe data and with the help of a data storage medium the changed data can be imported into the test bed's database.
